Released on Amazon Prime.
In September 2010, 18-year-old Tyler Clementi tragically took his own life after his roommate secretly posted a video of his intimate encounter with another male student online. This event deeply resonated with young adults grappling with modern sexual identities. “Break Through” is a raw, eye-opening documentary following impassioned theatre students as they produce a play highlighting the stigmas and equality issues faced by LGBT youth. Throughout their journey, they confront personal truths and learn the importance of self-acceptance and overcoming fears, regardless of gender or sexual orientation.
